Master Touch Band
Four talented professional musicians and singers; Jana Wilson, Ron Moore, Clarence Webb, and
Rei Williams comprise the band, Master Touch. The Band performs hits from all eras and styles, and can handle any type
of live entertainment, large or small; Master Touch will musically satisfy your every need. Currently, Master Touch
is the feature band at the upscale, art deco, five-star restaurant in Long Beach, The Skyroom. For the past 3 years,
Master Touch has been performing weekly at the Skyroom, and provides entertainment for weddings, ballroom dances, private
parties and special events.
Jana Wilson, lead vocalist, fashion model, dressed elegantly, while performing such hit songs
as, "All of Me", Take the A Train", "The look of Love", "At Last", "My Funny Valentine", with captivating presence, transitions
into medley of Sade's hits, "Smooth Operator", and "Hang on to your Love". She also performs a variety of tunes from
artists such as Billie Holiday, Toni Braxton, and Roberta Flack.
With the great background and lead vocals of Ron Moore, who can do Motown's greatest hits,
"My Girl' and "Just my imagination ", can also "Brick House" and sing Luther Vandross, "A House is Not a Home". Ron
also plays percussion and engineers the sound for the band. Jana and Ron's vocal blend matches that of Nat King
Cole's and daughter Natalie, performing such classics as, "When I fall in Love", Route 66", and "Unforgettable".
They also show their vocal talents with Latin songs, such as Dean Martin's "Sway", Carlos Jobim's, "Girl From Ipanema",
and "Besame Mucho". They also show variations with songs like "The Closer I Get To You", and Stevie Wonder's, ;Your
Are the Sunshine of My Life", cha cha style.
In the middle of each song, you will hear tenor saxophone solos from Clarence Webb: His ideas
are truly ahead of his time. From Kenny G, to Grover Washington Jr., to John Coltrane, Clarence goes beyond each
song and adds his Master Touch to all ballads, jazz, and Latin songs. He also cuts loose with his hip hop and R&B
solos and arrangements.
Holding Master Touch together, Rei Williams, the bandleader and musical director of Master
Touch, plays Grand piano, Keyboards, and Keybass, also sings background vocals. With his hot tempos that flow through
each song, he will make you tap your feet with his endless energy, and his pursuit of perfection. Rei Williams and Master
Touch perform such songs as, "On the Sunnyside of the Street", "Goody Goody", Cole Porter's "Night and Day", "Feel
Like Making Love", "Another Sad Love Song", and "Blue Moon", just to name a few. Rei Williams can also turn Master Touch
and conduct a funky version of "Fever", and "Summertime", and will show off his classical training with his piano solos in
such songs, "Round Midnight", "What a Wonderful World", "Hello", "Love Story", and "Endless Love".
Combined, Master Touch performs music with class.
